This distribution is still experimental. It is experimental in the sense that it is not yet clear that it is in demand among the people and the need to refine it. Vote shorter in the distribution header.
In the distribution of the preview version of the compiler in order ... firstly, I could change something in the distribution more freely if there are jambs ... secondly, you can put the preview version of the compiler in parallel with the release and thus check out the distribution (without affecting your "working" compiler) and unsubscribe about problems with the installer and the list of components in it. I don’t think that the compiler is very bad here because the addition of large "bells and whistles" to it is not declared (compared to release 16.8) ... I mean that those who do not have a compiler at all can limit themselves only to this compiler and I think you will have everything well. And if it gets bad, then install the compiler from the distribution BuildTools 16.8.x I
inform you that any SDK can be downloaded not only from microsoftbut also from the tracker in general from any "neighboring" distribution of the studio (any version) as a subfolder Installer \ Win10SDK_10.0 . I explain how difficult it is to install the SDK yourself
